Retail health competition heats up

Wal-Mart, which has the problem that is partnering with vendors to offer health care, would like to expand again in an effort to compete with the retailer and pharmacy chain for millions of potential customers who are insured through the new health law.

Retail giant confirmed Wednesday that it had sent "several dozen" request for information for suppliers, as well as medical care providers include system of hospitals and clinics, said a spokesman for Wal-Mart, David Tovar.

Wal-Mart will not disclose medical care provider or supplier that accepts the request, but analysts say what types of retailers who are considering a partnership with hospitals and clinics set up by chains such as CVS and Walgreen's company.

Career Education Division, increase sell buybacks
